Residential Internet Service

An installation fee of $500 will be charged for the internet equipment and installation.  If you sign a 24-month contract with Clay County Connect, the equipment and installation fee will be waived.  Having a contract helps protect both you as the subscriber and Clay County Connect as the provider. When you make an application for service full terms and conditions of the contract will be presented.

Download speed is the rate that data is transferred from the internet to your computer. This speed gives you the ability to download movies, songs, or documents. Upload speed is the rate that data is transferred from your computer to the internet. Upload speed is used for sending e-mails, video chatting, or sending data files. Both download speed and upload speed are measured in megabits (Mbps) per second. All our fiber packages have symmetrical uploads and download speeds.

To evaluate the speed that will best suit your needs, several factors such as the number of users, types of activities, patterns of use and number of devices must be consider.  Depending on your location and connection type, different packages may be available to you.  We recommend calling to speak with a customer service representative to discuss your internet habits to best determine which plan is right for you.  Having a specialized analysis will ensure that your are placed with the package that best fits your needs.

No, you can use as much data as you want with no caps or throttling.

You are not required to provide any internet equipment; Clay County Connect provides equipment for internet service.

You do not have to buy or rent the internet equipment; Clay County Connect provides the equipment upon installation. 

Physical damage will be charged to the subscriber. Malfunctioning equipment will be replaced by Clay County Connect at no charge.

Yes, the internet equipment belongs to Clay County Connect.

Clay County Connect is replacing Managed Wifi and Whole Home Wifi with Plume HomePass.  Plume offers customers peak performance throughout their home and offers many other advanced features.  Plume provides customers with worry free wifi.  The first Plume pod is included in the initial installation at no extra cost to the customer.  Additional pods may be added for $9.99 per pod per month.
 
Plume Homepass is available to new customers and is coming soon for existing customers.
